Beverly Hills Firefighters' Association works together with a strong sense of dedication to support our community. Through emergency services, public education and community involvement, the members of the BHFA strive to make a difference in the City of Beverly Hills.

  • Fire Captain Brett Wilson has responded to over 630 emergency calls in 2011 so far. (The most in the department.)

  • Did you know that the Beverly Hills Fire Department responds to most emergencies within 3 minutes?

  • As of September 2011, the Beverly Hills Fire Department has responded to over 4,500 emergency calls.

  • Beverly Hills Fire Department was formed in 1925.

  • Beverly Hills Firefighters' Association was formed in 1939.

  • We have spent over 500 volunteer hours at events in the last year.

  • We clean the floors and polish the brass fire poles once a week.

  • We clean our own station daily. Bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, offices.

  • We are all trained Emergency Medical Technicians.

  • Someone cooks everyday at each station lunch and dinner.

  • We buy our own food.

  • We are on duty for 48 hours in a row.

  • We ran 6140 calls in 2010.

  • The engine carries water and hose, the truck carries the ladders and tools.

  • We have 2 female firefighters.

  • We do our own vehicle maintenance and spend over 100 hours per week maintaining our vehicles.

  • We do all our own cooking and spend at least 90 hrs per week cooking.

  • We do all our own janitorial work and spend over 175 hrs per week cleaning
